Dietary restrictions are becoming very common. They’re caused by many different things -- food allergies, food sensitivities, celiac disease, lactose intolerance, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and of course the classic, trying to lose weight.

Eating out can be like tiptoeing through a minefield – you never really know what’s underneath until it’s too late. Yet eating at home can get boring very quickly unless you spend hours searching for new recipes.
Even though I know I’ll feel horrible afterwards, if I’m tired and hungry and trying to figure out what to have for dinner, my mind can sometimes convince me it’s okay to eat pizza or Chinese takeout or some other food that makes me feel terrible the next day.
But, if I have a plan for dinner in advance and have all the ingredients on hand, chances are I’ll eat the way I’m “supposed” to eat. And I won’t be running for the bathroom or feel totally exhausted the next day.
I tried to find someone to help me plan dinner, but they wanted $75 a week just to create menu plans for me. I couldn’t see spending an additional $300 a month just for meal plans.
